About Ronald Lopez
A designer at heart, a builder by nature.

At a Glance

I design and build products end-to-end, from research and interface design through to the front-end. Designing since 2013, the first 8 years at OneLocal (YC S17) as the company's founding designer, where I helped scale it from zero to a multi-product B2B SaaS platform with 2,100+ partners. My design work spanned across 7 products, 2 mobile apps, and 100+ client websites for solo, SMB, and mid-market businesses, partnering with engineering, product, and marketing to ship them. Most recently, 4 years at Legend on Covers's commercial squad, designing components and pages that drive click-outs to partner sportsbook brands, where my front-end fluency goes into the handoff so engineering can ship the work as drawn.
Design drives me to solve a real problem, and the best part is watching people use the solution. I studied design and taught myself to code alongside it, so I could see the work through to the screen. I keep learning anything I can get my hands on. Lately AI has joined the toolkit, making the workflow faster and the experiments cheaper.
